My husband's cousin brought us to this excellent museum. The scale of their exhibits together with explanatory notice displays is extraordinary. And of course I have to mention The Hughes H-4 Hercule… Full review by EvaT1574

In one building you experience the history of aviation. You can even go inside the Spruce Goose! The other building is devoted to space travel. Great volunteers who love what they do. Full review by Passport03111471716

My suggestion is to make a whole day of it. Start early, get to the museum when it opens @ 9AM, go downtown McMinnville for lunch and walk around some interesting shops shops then either return to the museum or check out some fine Pinot Noir at one of the great local wineries. If your really into the museum and don't want to quit for lunch in town, the cafe in the museum's Aerospace bldg serves a creditable burger and tater-tots.
