Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is endorsing Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani as her top choice in New York City's mayor race, the New York Times reported Thursday​.

The progressive congresswoman is supporting the young Queens assemblyman’s upstart campaign in a crowded Democratic primary field.

Her endorsement comes less than three weeks before the June 24 primary, which former Gov. Andrew Cuomo has so far dominated in polling.
