Reminding of his value with the Panthers in the playoffs, Marchand could command as much as $8 million on his next contract, sources said.
Traded from the Boston Bruins to Florida at this year’s deadline, Marchand is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 and has started to field questions about his future.
