Multiple people were detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in downtown San Francisco on Tuesday morning, merely 12 hours after thousands of protesters took to the streets in the Mission to rally against the widespread raids taking place across California.

Unrest over the Trump administration’s crack down on immigration continued in downtown Los Angeles for the fourth day. Protesters continued to clash with law enforcement officers resulting in more troops being deployed.

Throughout the afternoon, the crowd of protesters grew along Santa Ana Boulevard in front of the federal building.
