A theater in Washington Township, N.J., banned children seeing the movie without a parent to keep them in check, NBC New York reported. A few theaters in the U.K. promised to keep an eye out for viewer misconduct during the movie, Variety reported.

A Minecraft Movie is pulling large crowds to the theaters. That should be a cause for celebration, right? At least some theater owners beg to differ.

Moviegoers have reported rather rowdy experiences at screenings, with fans singing and chanting along with the characters, especially with this scene. We've seen stories of spontaneous applause, kids chanting "Chicken Jockey!" and makeshift cosplay. But it's only escalated from there.
