Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans opted to remain tight-lipped about the status of quarterback C.J. Stroud, who wasn't throwing during OTAs while dealing with what Ryans called "general soreness" in his shoulder.

After several weeks of early-summer speculation, a vexing question is now answered for the Houston Texans: C.J. Stroud's right shoulder is just fine. Houston's signal caller will be ready to roll when training camp starts next month.
