WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Gas prices in the Wausau area jumped from below $2.50 per gallon on Monday to over $2.90 on Tuesday following a refinery fire just outside Gary, Indiana. Patrick De Haan, a petroleum analyst with GasBuddy, said the price hike should be temporary as the refinery situation gets resolved.
