Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and Ivanka Trump addressed a crowd of thousands this evening at a rally in Tel Aviv.

US special envoy Steve Witkoff on Saturday lauded US President Donald Trump's efforts to secure a Gaza ceasefire in a speech at a rally on Tel Aviv's Hostage Square, with hundreds of thousands in attendance.

In the deal, alongside the exchange of hostages, captives and Palestinian detainees, aid will increase. Israeli forces also have withdrawn to the “yellow line”, which still leaves them with more than 50 per cent control of the devastated, besieged strip. The handover of hostages is expected to happen by midday Monday.

The Trump administration is credited with orchestrating a peace deal between Israel and Hamas following two years of intense conflict in the Gaza territory. A ceasefire has been in place since Friday, with Palestinians returning to the rubble-strewn region and aid expected to be allowed in.

Jared Kushner spoke tonight to a rally of tens of thousands at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv and praised Israel for not being drawn into 'imitating the barbarism of Hamas.'

A large crowd in Tel Aviv erupted in cheers as Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, vowed the remaining hostages would soon return home, while world leaders prepare to head to Egypt for a peace summit.
