In a news release, the Kentucky Lottery said Linda Grizzle and her son, Shannon Farthing, will share the jackpot, after he purchased the $2 winning ticket for Saturday's Powerball drawing. It's the largest prize ever awarded in Kentucky.

The Kentucky jackpot is the third jackpot to be won in 2025, according to Powerball. The first, a $328.5 million jackpot, was won in Oregon in January, and the second, a $526.5 million jackpot, was won in March in California.
