It remains unclear as of Saturday evening whether Lane Kiffin will be leaving Ole Miss on a potential College Football Playoff run this winter.

Kiffin’s decision has come down to leaving for LSU and staying at Ole Miss, which is heading toward its first College Football Playoff berth and could host a first-round game with an 11-1 record. Florida heavily courted Kiffin, but multiple reports said the Gators moved on to other candidates over the past week.
