LSU is mourning the loss of freshman pole vaulter Dillon Reidenauer, one of two people killed in a car crash on campus in Baton Rouge. She was 18.

Dillon Reidenauer, 18, of Slidell, was killed Wednesday night in a crash at the intersection of Nicholson Drive and South Quad Drive.

Reidenauer had a decorated preps career at Fontainebleau High School in Louisiana before arriving to the SEC School.

LeBron James and his son, Bronny, were named in a lawsuit claiming they crashed into two people on a Los Angeles-area highway in 2022. It's "the only way to explain almost everything this administration has done," said the conservative attorney.

The Fontainebleau High School community in Mandeville struggled to process the news that star track athlete and alum Dillon Reidenauer died in a car crash.

Reidenauer, who was in her first year at LSU, was one of the top prep pole vaulters in the state of Louisiana at Fontainbleau High School. She finished second at the 2024 LHSAA State 5A Championships with a clearance of 3.64 meters. As a junior, she placed fourth at the state meet.
