Coach JJ Redick and the Lakers' superstar say he'll definitely play in the preseason, but it's unclear if it will be Sunday vs. Golden State.

Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick confirmed Saturday that Luka Doncic ’s availability for Sunday’s preseason meeting with the Golden State Warriors remained “to be determined,” adding that Doncic will likely be limited to two preseason appearances this year as the Lakers manage a heavy offseason workload.

In NBA.com writer John Schuhmann's annual preseason poll of GMs around the league, Luka Doncic scored well in the MVP category, with 10 percent of the voters thinking he will win the award this year.

The Los Angeles Lakers will play Luka Doncic in two preseason games while Marcus Smart will make his debut against the Golden State Warriors.

Outside of bumping some Britney, Doncic also championed High School Musical and, more specifically, Troy Bolton’s (played by Zac Efron) “Get’cha Head in the Game” as his favorite song from the Disney classic.
