The first sub-zero low of the season averages Dec. 10 in Minneapolis - St. Paul, so this could be about a week earlier than normal — and the earliest below-zero temperature in Minneapolis-St. Paul since 2014, when the air dipped to minus-4 on Thanksgiving.

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Saturday saw steady, light snowfall all day, bringing slick roads and cold temperatures. The snow is starting to move out of Minnesota Saturday night, and is expected to be fully gone by Sunday morning. With the snow leaving, cold temperatures will come in and linger through the week.
