The Murray State Baseball team will play Arkansas Monday in a College World Series elimination game at 1:00 p.m.

Arkansas has named a starting pitcher for its elimination game against Murray State on Monday afternoon in Omaha.

• The Razorbacks will play a fourth Missouri Valley Conference program in the NCAA Tournament. Arkansas has an all-time postseason record of 5-4 against Wichita State, 3-4 against Missouri State and 1-0 against Creighton with those teams in the MVC. Wichita State and Creighton are now in other leagues.

In 2009, Skirka was just a couple of years removed from a standout playing career as a shortstop at Grand Valley State when he spent a year as a graduate assistant at Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia.
