James Gunn’s Superman reboot has entered Nielsen’s top 10 most-watched streaming movies this week. But has it managed to outperform Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters?
According to creator Maggie Kang, nothing following the live-action remake trend. “There's so many elements of the tone and the comedy that are so suited for animation," the Korean-Canadian co-writer and co-director told the BBC in a recent interview. "It's really hard to imagine these characters in a live-action world.”

The movie, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Applehans, centers on a K-pop girl group, Huntr/x — comprised of Rumi (Cho), Mira (Hong), and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo) — which is a disguise for their more important jobs as demon hunters.
KPop Demon Hunters fans are trying ramyun, just like the film's heroines, sparking warnings from doctors to help avoid getting burned.
