Vanderbilt football was ranked No. 14 in the penultimate College Football Playoff rankings on Dec. 2.

A 17-yard run moved the Commodores down to the Tennessee 32-yard line at the two-minute timeout. Vanderbilt made their way into the redzone, and after a roughing the passer penalty, ended up in the endzone to tie the game with 12 seconds remaining in the half.
