WWE is reportedly planning to bring back the old ECW event Wrestlepalooza for its September premium live event. AEW will hold its All Out pay-per-view in Toronto on September 20. It was reported by Dave Metlzer that WWE plans to run a premium live event on the same day.
With it previously reported that WWE was looking to counter-program AEW All Out with its own special event on 20 September, it appears that the market leader is turning to ECW for inspiration. Per WrestleVotes, it looks like WWE is reintroducing the Wrestlepalooza name for this show:
RAW took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which is the same city that was the birthplace of ECW. Paul Heyman hyped up a Street Fight between Bron Breakker and Jey Uso by recalling some of the biggest names in ECW history.
Spike Dudley has spoken his mind about the WWE Hall of Fame. Matthew Jonathan Hyson, otherwise known as Spike Dudley, is considered one of the toughest superstars to compete in the squared circle. He gained notoriety for putting his body through extreme punishment in ECW before bringing his talents to WWE.

AEW is heading to the birthplace of ECW later this month in Philadelphia for a residency at the 2300 Arena. And it appears a new trademark filing will be utilized during their stay. On August 18, AEW filed for a new trademark with the USPTO for the name “September to Remember.
Paul Heyman namedropped multiple ECW legends on this week's WWE RAW. While confronting Jey Uso, he mentioned Sandman, New Jack, Sabu, and other notable names.
WWE are reportedly considering reviving ECW PPV 'Wrestlepalooza' to counter AEW's All Out PPV on September 20. There are expectations that John Cena will face Brock Lesnar at the PLE, given that the Beast is skipping Clash in Paris.
