Numerous cities across Florida saw temperatures plummet to record lows this weekend as a bomb cyclone hit the East Coast.
A powerful storm will develop off the Southeast coast this weekend amid brutal cold. This bomb cyclone will bring snow and strong winds to parts of the East Coast as it moves north.
The greater Philadelphia region will experience no weekend letup in the prolonged cold snap gripping the area.
"An intense surge of arctic air behind the coastal storm is bringing below freezing temperatures and wind chills," the WPC said.
