There will be closures on a major Dallas highway this weekend ... Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20 for bridge maintenance, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Five people were shot, including two fatally, late Monday near a pedestrian bridge in West Dallas during an argument between two groups of people, police said.
