A deadly shootout near the Ron Kirk Pedestrian Bridge left two people dead and three others hospitalized late Monday night.

DALLAS — A multi-vehicle "major fatal accident ... TxDOT cameras showed crews on scene and smoke pluming from below the I-20 bridge at TX-310 around 2:40 a.m. Sunday morning.

There will be closures on a major Dallas highway this weekend ... Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20 for bridge maintenance, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Dramatic dashcam video captured the moment a car flew off an overpass in California and landed on a busy freeway below. The crash happened Monday afternoon on Interstate 5 in Sacramento.
