According to reports from Yahoo Sports Writer Ross Dellenger, LSU and Woodward are finalizing an exit agreement. Dellenger says Woodward’s contract states he is owed about $6.4 million. LSU officials confirmed that Woodward has agreed to part ways, effective immediately.

Woodward, a Baton Rouge native and LSU alumnus, began his tenure as Director of Athletics at his alma mater in April 2019.

The 2025 LSU Baseball NCAA National Champions are meeting President Donald Trump in a White House ceremony on Monday at 4 p.m. ET (3 p.m. CT). The LSU-Shreveport baseball team, the 2025 NAIA National Champions, will also participate in Monday’s ceremony.

The Tigers are scheduled to arrive in Washington, D.C. on Sunday night, and they will tour the U.S. Capitol on Monday prior to the White House ceremony with President Donald Trump.
