As the United States awaits a winner in the presidential race between Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump, polls have closed in Alabama. All seven of the Yellowhammer State's congressional districts were up for election this year.

Alabama's 2nd Congressional District is a toss-up election this year as candidates Caroleene Dobson and Shomari Figures go head-to-head to represent the district in the House of Representatives after the state's congressional map was redrawn last year.

Results are in for the Alabama Congressional District 1 seat. Baldwin County, Escambia County, Ala., and some Mobile County residents voted in the General Election between Tom Holmes (D) and Barry Moore (R).
