The New York Knicks and Boston Celtics are slated to face off on Friday, October 24, inside Madison Square Garden, streaming exclusively on Prime Video. This will mark the first-ever game broadcast through NBA on Prime, following the league’s new 11-season media rights deal with Amazon.

The Celtics open their regular season by hosting the 76ers on Oct. 22 at TD Garden. The schedule features 80 games currently with two more added based on how NBA Cup play goes. Notably, the Celtics won’t play on Christmas Day for the first time since 2015.

The 2025-26 NBA season tips off with a doubleheader on Tuesday, Oct. 21, when the NBA returns to NBC and debuts on Peacock. The Oklahoma City Thunder hosts the Houston Rockets (7:30 p.m. ET) and the Golden State Warriors visit the Los Angeles Lakers (10 p.m. ET).
