Guardians make big C.J. Kayfus promotion decision with top prospect
The Cleveland Guardians are promoting the star minor league slugger to the majors for the first time, according to The Athletic's Zack Meisel. Pretty much all Kayfus has done in his professional career is rake. The Guardians took the first baseman/corner outfielder out of Miami in the third round in 2023.
Kayfus will make his major league debut on Saturday in right field, batting eighth against the Minnesota Twins.
