Israel assassinates 'key terror' Hezbollah commander in brutal Lebanon airstrike
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claimed to have assassinated a top Hezbollah commander who allegedly led armament efforts for the Lebanese resistance movement
The airstrikes come just hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had agreed to implement the first phase of his proposed plan to end the ongoing war in Gaza.
After a few temporary ceasefires, Israel and Hamas agreed to a multi-phase peace agreement in January that sought to end the war.
