A power outage at/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport delayed more than 150 flights and diverted many incoming flights on Monday, according to BWI Airport officials.

A downed wire caused a power outage and flight delays Monday morning at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. Officials at the airport said on X that the outage was “impacting areas of the main terminal” and the hourly parking garage. Crews were working to restore power.
