A new wildfire was reported today at 11:23 a.m. in Los Angeles County, California. The wildfire has been burning on private land. At this time, the containment status is unknown and the cause of the fire remains undetermined.

Los Angeles County is under an air quality alert which was reported by the National Weather Service on Monday at 11:35 a.m. The alert is in effect until Tuesday Dec. 16, at 11:45 a.m.
