House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) grew frustrated on Wednesday with questions about abuse and "stolen valor" accusations against Rep. Cory Mills (R-LA).
“I’m not putting the blame on the president,” Greene said of President Donald Trump, of whom she is one of the House’s staunchest supporters. “I’m putting the blame on the (House) speaker (Mike Johnson), (House Majority) leader (John) Thune, and the Senate.
Johnson said, “We have stood against that; we fought the Nazis.” Then he added, “We defended that evil ideology. We roundly condemn it, and anybody in any party who espouses it, we’re opposing that.” Of course, Johnson’s gaffe raised eyebrows on social media.
