OKC crews are salting snow routes in 12-hour shifts around the clock until conditions improve. The city has 30 trucks with salt spreaders, and roads were pretreated with a beet soution earlier this week.

After a cold front moved in overnight, snow and ice are in the forecast for Tuesday for much of Oklahoma. The morning and evening commutes are expected to be hazardous, and it's only going to get colder.

With a cold front situated to move in on Tuesday, meteorologists are predicting hazardous driving conditions throughout the day.
