The Connecticut Sun could soon rise over Boston if a purported deal goes through, but Gov. Dan McKee isn’t ready to walk off the court just yet when it comes to potentially hosting the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) team.

While it remains to be seen if the Sun stay in the state, it's a near-lock they will move from the Mohegan Sun. In the midst of the WNBA's facility arms race, the Sun have some of the worst in the league. They practice in a local community center and their arena is among the league's smallest.

Despite reports of a sale to Boston, a group in Hartford led by billionaire Marc Lasry is fighting to keep the Connecticut Sun in-state.
