MS Dhoni's return as captain of Chennai Super Kings started on a sour note. The five-time champions crashed to 103/9, their lowest total at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Shivam Dube (31*) & Vijay Shankar (29) were the only two batters to cross 15 runs.

Chennai Super Kings scored 103/9 in the first innings against KKR, as the Ajinkya Rahane-led side put on a brilliant show with the ball. This is now the lowest total that CSK have ever posted at their home ground in 18 years of the IPL.
