Seven people were hospitalized Monday after a small plane crashed into a car in Florida. The incident occurred around 4:25 p.m. when the single-engine aircraft clipped some trees, hit the top of a car and crashed into a park about one minute after taking off from Lantana Airport, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said.

Seven people are recovering after a plane crashed into a South Florida neighborhood Monday afternoon. The plane took off from an airport in the Palm Beach area just before 4:30 in the afternoon and traveled less than a mile before crashing.

A small plane skimmed the top of a car before crashing on Monday in Florida and seven people were transported to the hospital, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
