A 39-year-old man died Saturday after being shot during a large “No Kings” protest in downtown Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City Police Chief Brian Redd said Sunday.
Salt Lake City police said in a post to social media that the shooting was "possibly associated" with a "No Kings" demonstration.
Detectives believe the victim was at the demonstration as a bystander and “was not the intended target of the gunfire.”
