President Trump is set to host the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the White House on Friday in a bid to broker a historic peace deal. The talks aim to revive a stalled March 2025 draft agreement and end the decades-long conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.

The meeting, expected to take place on Aug. 8, comes as part of U.S. President Donald Trump's broader push to assert the U.S. role in resolving global conflicts.
