Two individuals affiliated with the Zizians, a fringe movement with ties to Vallejo that is allegedly linked to killings in several states, have been arrested.

NBC News' David Noriega has the latest on the investigation of the alleged leader of a cultlike group known as the "Zizians." The group been linked to multiple killings, including the fatal shooting of a border patrol officer in Vermont.

The Zizians, led by Jack LaSota, have been described as a radical vegan transgender cult and have ties to six deaths across the United States in the past decade.

They face multiple charges including trespassing, obstructing and hindering and possession of a handgun in the vehicle.

Three people were arrested in connection with a series of homicides in California and Pennsylvania as well as the shooting death earlier this year in Vermont of a U.S. border patrol agent.

Members of the "Zizian" cult, along with its apparent leader, were arrested Sunday in Maryland after refusing to leave a private property. One member was carrying a loaded gun.
