Five people. including three children, were able to escape a fire that’s suspected to be arson in Northeast Ohio Thursday night.

A person was arrested on aggravated arson charges after a fire was intentionally set in a Canton home Thursday night, officials said.

According to the report, a sign was posted on the door of the practice saying the office would be closed until further notice. Two adults and three children were inside the home at the time and managed to escape safely. Franchessai Winston-Johnson is charged with aggravated arson. Damage is estimated at $27,000.
