Stroud suffered an apparent head injury with 13 minutes, 49 seconds left in the second quarter. Stroud scrambled out of the pocket trying to pick up a first down on third-and-8, but the Texans QB was met by Broncos cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine before the line to gain as he attempted to slide.

C.J. Stroud was being evaluated for a concussion after hitting his head hard on the ground at the end of a run in the second quarter Sunday against Denver.

Stroud scrambled for 6 yards and was hit on the shoulder near the end of his slide by Kris Abrams-Draine and the back of his head violently bounced off the ground.
