BYU remained unbeaten after defeating Iowa State 41-27. The No. 11-ranked Cougars improved to 8-0 and are still tied atop the Big 12 standings (5-0) with Cincinnati after overcoming a 14-point deficit in the first half.
During the evening games, No. 8 Georgia Tech suffered a surprise loss to NC State and No. 18 Oklahoma overwhelmed No. 14 Tennessee in a solid road win. And in the nightcap, No. 24 Utah bludgeoned No. 17 Cincinnati 45-14 to cap Saturday's action.
