ESPN's "College GameDay" is in Eugene, Oregon, this Saturday to preview an epic showdown between No. 7 Indiana and No. 3 Oregon. During the first hour of "College GameDay," Oregon head coach Dan Lanning appeared on the show to chat about his 2025 campaign.

But midway through the broadcast, longtime analyst Kirk Herbstreit had to step away, not because of an emergency, but because of another major assignment. Herbstreit was headed south to Dallas to call the famed Red River Rivalry between the No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
