A tenth victim has died as a result of injuries sustained in a fire an assisted-living facility in Fall River, Massachusetts.

A 10th victim has died from the fire that ripped through a Massachusetts assisted-living facility earlier this week, officials said Thursday, as records and accounts from staff raise concerns about conditions at Gabriel House before the blaze.

Residents of the Gabriel House in Fall River, Massachusetts described the terrifying moments that smoke filled the assisted living home​ and they had to find a way to escape.

After spending days in critical condition, Brenda Cooper, 66, succumbed to injuries she sustained on July 16, officials said.
