Since its inception in 2007, the FedEx Cup Playoffs have marked the end of the golf season with an emphatic exclamation. The series of tournaments offers fans a sense of finality to the sport each year while simultaneously rewarding golfers who have been playing well.

It took 36 tournaments over seven months (or 30-plus weeks or 214 days, whichever measure of time you prefer) for the 2025 PGA Tour regular season to play out. In that period, 350 different tour pros teed it up.

After several years of the top 100 making the PGA Tour's postseason, now only the top 70 players get in the playoffs.
