Alexander and Lubov Goldin flew in from Russia and saw their son Vlad play college basketball for the first time in person on Sunday.

Vlad Goldin also got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Camryn Vogler in February. She met his parents for the first time this weekend.

The Goldins were introduced as part of Michigan’s Senior Day ceremony, walking from a tunnel to midcourt, where May was waiting with a framed jersey. Goldin’s fiancée, Camryn Vogler, and her parents joined them. The two got engaged on the Crisler court after Michigan’s game against Michigan State on Feb. 21.

FAU standout center Vladislav Goldin followed his head coach to Ann Arbor. So far this season, the Wolverine center is averaging 15.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game. Goldin has been a major contributor to Michigan's success this season and is having his best year yet.

Goldin shoots an extremely high percentage from the floor, but that’s primarily a function of his shot diet. Most of his attempts come right around the rim. He has several reliable moves with his back to the basket and has good touch with both hands.

Senior Day is an emotional one for many athletes, but for the University of Michigan’s Vlad Goldin, it will be one he will remember forever.
