Hezly Rivera, a 17-year-old Olympic gold medalist, pulled away for a victory at the U.S. gymnastics championships Sunday.

Rivera was the youngest athlete in any sport on Team USA at the 2024 Olympics when she made the squad at just 16 years old. She was the newcomer on a star-studded team of Olympic veterans that featured Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles.
