Michigan State football squared off with UCLA in a noon kickoff at Spartan Stadium, where the Spartans were looking to end a two game losing skid, but instead, the team was embarrassed on homecoming by UCLA, falling to 3-3.
The Spartans (3-2, 0-2 Big Ten) and Bruins (1-4, 1-1 Big Ten) meet Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing for their homecoming game. MSU-UCLA starts at noon, with the TV channel being the Big Ten Network and streaming link on Fubo.
Nico Iamaleava had an efficient day leading UCLA by completing 16 of 24 passes for 180 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Former Michigan State running back Jalen Berger had an impressive return to East Lansing by scoring three touchdowns – two receiving and one rushing on 13 carries for 83 yards.
