The Savannah Bananas, the barnstorming baseball team known for their fast-paced, fan-focused “Banana Ball,” will bring two games to the Caesars Superdome on March 14 and 15, 2026. The announcement was made October 9 during the team’s selection show livestreamed on ESPN2.
In their Oct. 9 selection show on ESPN2, the team announced their schedule for the 2026 season, which included two dates in New Orleans. The Bananas will play two games against their rivals, the Party Animals, on March 14 and 15 at Caesars Superdome, according to a news release.
The Savannah Bananas and their affiliate teams will play nearly a dozen games in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee in 2026, the team announced.
The Bananas announced that the New Orleans dates are one stop on a 9-city tour of football stadiums, which will be the largest venues they’ve ever played in.
The Bananas will face the new Loco Beach Coconuts at the home of the New England Patriots on Aug. 28 and 29 of 2026.
