Local Catholics gathered for a special mass for the repose of the soul of the late Pope Francis. The mass was celebrated by Bishop Glen John Provost.

Residents are returning to the polls for Saturday’s runoff, as well as tax propositions in Calcasieu, Allen, and Beauregard.
