The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team saw its season come to a close in the ACC Tournament Second Round against the Southern Methodist University Mustangs. SMU handed Syracuse a decisive 73-53 defeat.

The historically bad 2024-25 Syracuse men’s basketball season is finally over. On Wednesday night, the No. 14 seeded Orange (14-19) fell 73-53 to No. 6 seeded SMU (23-9) in the second round of the ACC Tournament at the Spectrum Center.
