What’s your design process?⠀ ⠀ I tend to design in batches. I’ll paint a series of marks and motifs, then I scan them in all at the same time and then I design the pattern layouts. Batching seems to save me time and since I paint in my kitchen, it keeps our house a little more organized! ⠀ In this quick video I recorded the indexing process,that I use to simplify the number of colors within my motifs and marks.
